Our take.
Risk of Rain 2 is personal for me because it brought an old group of friends back together. What was supposed to kill a few hours turned into an obsession: every time we thought we'd figured the game out, another run showed us how much deeper it went. The builds can get ridiculous, different characters completely change how you play, and even after dozens of hours it still feels like there's another level to reach.
