Information you submit

WhatToGame currently has no user accounts and no live contact form. Finder answers are sent to the site to calculate recommendations; they are not tied to an account. Search runs against the game catalogue and does not search the web.

Technical information

The site is hosted through Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, device/browser details, requested URLs, timestamps and security signals to deliver and protect the site. WhatToGame does not currently install a separate analytics product.

Browser storage

The current product does not use non-essential cookies. The support prompt is disabled by default. If it is configured later, local storage records only a meaningful-page count, whether Finder was completed and a suppression date after dismissal or a support click. Finder editing state is represented in the page URL.

Advertising and third parties

Advertising is currently off. No Google AdSense script or ad unit runs on the site today. Google Fonts is requested by the browser to display site typography, so Google may receive ordinary request metadata. Links to game stores, publishers or a future support provider lead to services with their own privacy terms.

Before advertising is enabled, this notice and the consent experience must be updated for the actual configuration.
