WhatToGame Verdict
Our take.
I expected Sea of Thieves to be a chill game about sailing around, finding treasure and occasionally fighting something. It can be that — right until another crew appears and the whole evening turns into chaos. Even losing can be hilarious because the ship fights, emergencies and terrible team decisions are often the best part. The world has enough events, enemies and treasure hunts that hours disappear frighteningly fast with the right group.
